"Xiamen welcomes guests from all over the world, and its doors welcome the vast sea of water." More and more "international" - this is the impression of Xiamen that many people have in recent years. In recent years, the G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting, the World Cities Day Forum, the China International Investment and Trade Fair, and the International Marathon have taken turns to appear, making Xiamen frequently appear in the international eye. Xiamen has also opened international routes to Vancouver, Seattle and other places, and its connection with the world has become closer.
The "Xiamen Meeting" that just ended witnessed the BRICS cooperation setting sail from Xiamen to create the second "Golden Decade". Against the backdrop of the "BRICS" opening the golden year of international exchanges, Xiamen's urban atmosphere has become more international and its cultural forms have become richer and more diverse. As General Secretary Xi Jinping said, as a special economic zone at the forefront of China's reform and opening up and constantly practicing the spirit of pioneering and trying, after more than 30 years of spring breeze and rain, today's Xiamen has been reborn and developed into a beautiful ecological garden city, proudly standing on the coast of the East China Sea, where people and nature coexist harmoniously; it has also developed into a high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship city, with emerging industries accounting for more than 60%, new economy and new industries developing rapidly, trade and investment going hand in hand, sea, land and air transportation reaching all continents, and cultural industries booming.
With the help of the "12th Five-Year Plan", Xiamen's cultural industry has obvious characteristics, with an average annual growth of more than 15%, and the proportion of industrial added value in the city's GDP has steadily increased, which has become an important support for Xiamen's economic and social development. Cultural enterprises in emerging industries integrating culture and technology, such as animation and online games, digital content and new media, are showing a trend of gathering and development, and a group of platform-type enterprises with national influence have been formed; a group of top international art auction houses and exhibition industries intend to land in Xiamen; a large number of emerging industries at the benchmark level of cultural and creative industries, such as Longshan Cultural and Creative Park, Shapowei, Huli Cultural and Creative Park, and North Shore Art District, have taken root in Xiamen, providing excellent construction carriers and support platforms for the city's strategic positioning and industrial agglomeration.
In mid-September, Xiamen held the BRICS Cultural Festival, inviting artists from the five BRICS countries to carry out cultural exchanges; in October, the "Fantastic·Surrealist Master Dali's Original Works Exhibition" co-organized by Xiamen Wenguang Media Group Co., Ltd., More Art and Shengda International Cultural Enterprise Group will officially debut in the new benchmark of the Haixi Cultural and Creative Product Park-Xiamen North Shore Art District. This will also be the highest-level exhibition of original works by international art masters in Fujian.
As a Spanish surrealist painter and printmaker, Dali enjoys the reputation of "Master of Contemporary Art Magic". Together with Picasso and Matisse, he is known as the three most representative artists of the 20th century. He is famous for depicting subconscious dreams and fantasies. For those who explore life and mysterious knowledge, his art is an endless source of inspiration.
During this exhibition, more than 100 Dali works will be presented, including authentic paintings, life photography, video animation and other art treasures. This batch of Dali's authentic works were purchased from the French Surrealist Museum by the world-renowned "Second National Palace Museum in Taipei" Taiwan Shengdazhuang Cultural Enterprise Group. They were exhibited in the Pushkin State Museum in Moscow, Russia, one of the BRICS countries, in 1988, and in the Taiwan History Museum in 1999. Both exhibitions caused a huge sensation. This exhibition at the Xiamen North Shore Art District Ming Art Museum is the first appearance of this batch of Dali's authentic works in the 21st century, which is rare and precious.
During the three-month exhibition, the organizers will also launch activities such as "The Blind Mobile Art Museum", "Fantastic Art Plus" theme season, and "Art Education China Public Welfare Program". After the "BRICS", Xiamen's rich and colorful cultural activities will lead citizens and tourists to rediscover an "international" cultural Xiamen.
